An accurate list and honest values

For a sound assessment, the inventory and declared values must reflect reality. Items of special value should be listed separately so they are not lost inside a general group. Carrier liability and the policy are not the same

The carrier's liability and the insurance policy issued for the goods may not cover the same things. The start and end of cover, exclusions, any deductibles and the documents needed for a claim should be checked in the policy.
