Accurate inventory, consistent documents
Customs preparation for an international move rests on describing the shipment correctly and keeping the documents consistent with each other. Consors Logistics supports the coordination of the document flow with the transport schedule for household and office moves. We review procedures in the origin country and entry requirements in the destination country separately, and set when each preparation must be complete.

Personal goods and commercial shipments are assessed differently
Personal-use goods and commercial shipments may not be treated the same way. So when the inventory is prepared, the nature of the goods and the purpose of the shipment should be stated clearly. The documents needed about identity, residence and goods vary by procedure and country. We do not assume that a single document list will work for every customer and route.
Exemption is not automatic
That used household goods can qualify for exemption under certain conditions does not mean every move will be duty-free. The person's situation, the nature of the goods and the application conditions are for the relevant authorities to assess. Declaration and representation are carried out within the authority the regulations provide. Our coordination focuses on making clear which documents are expected from you and what each authorised party is responsible for.

An up-to-date list and timely answers
Missing information or an inventory that changes later may require the file to be reassessed. That is why sharing an up-to-date inventory before shipment and answering document requests on time matter. Inspection and release decisions rest with the customs authorities, and the delivery plan is updated according to the outcome. Sharing your destination country and the contents of your shipment early helps customs preparation keep pace with the transport schedule.
