Nothing is packed before we know it

A glass surface, an upholstered sofa and an electronic device do not need the same protection on the road. Professional packing starts with understanding each item's materials and the parts that could be damaged. Consors Logistics plans packing around the physical characteristics of your goods, the transport method and the movement they may face during the journey.

Furniture: dismantling, fittings and surfaces

For furniture, corners, legs and surfaces are assessed one by one. Dismantling suitable pieces can make transport easier, but we do not assume every piece can be taken apart and rebuilt. Keeping fittings with the furniture they belong to and protecting small accessories separately helps assembly go smoothly on arrival. Seeing existing weak points and surface marks in advance also shapes the packing decision.

Fragile items and electronics

With fragile items, contact between pieces and movement inside the box must be minimised. The inner arrangement matters as much as the strength of the carton. For electronics, screens and delicate mechanisms, we choose protection that suits their size and construction. If some items need more than standard packing, we address that at the quote stage. More material alone does not mean better packing; protection must go where it is needed.

Labelling: every box to the right room

Labelling completes the job of packing after the move. Information such as the room, the content group and which way up a box should travel supports orderly loading and delivery. If you have already packed some items yourself, tell us during the assessment.
